We are Ashley and Ian – Ashlan! Together, we have over 30 years of experience in hospitality. We've been on our vegan journey for over three years now. Ashley was raised completely vegetarian, while Ian grew up on a heavily processed diet.

We met in 2019 and have been inseparable ever since. Ashley introduced Ian to the beauty of a meal without meat, and he quickly transitioned to a vegetarian lifestyle. Then, in 2022, we went down the rabbit hole, discovering just how much of the food we eat isn’t what our bodies truly need. It was around this time that we decided to cut out all animal products completely.

In 2023, we had an incredible opportunity to host and cater for American tourists—all plant-based, of course! The feedback we received was unbelievable—we couldn’t stop smiling, knowing we were changing people’s perceptions of plant-based food.

We wanted to give our guests a small parting gift, and we decided on flapjacks! Fast forward to 2024, we began selling our flapjacks on platforms like Etsy and Yumbles. Shortly after, we designed and launched our very own website.

Before we knew it, we were the proud owners and operators of our own business
